What a time to be doing life in Barcelona. There is so much going on!
Let me begin by apologising for taking so long to write my first update! As you will see, new growth is absolutely wonderful and it makes 24h be too few for one day!
We are going through the book of Acts through all our campuses and it has been beautiful to watch how the Holy Spirit is moving in the church today in a very similar way that it did when it first came in Pentecost.

In Catalunya (where our in-person campuses are) only 0,5% of the population follows Jesus.
Let that sink in.
And yet it is here where we are seeing people find new life, spiritual revival in both new and old believers, beautiful times of worship, many learning to use spiritual gifts, and an overall increased hunger for Jesus. Just in the downtown campus, 82 people have decided to accept a new life in Jesus in the month of April!
Life in Barcelona
One of my favourite things about just BEING here is to go out into the city and actively seek conversations that will lead to Jesus. After living with my flatmates for 8 months, 2 of them have shown interest in coming to church one day. While it hasn’t happened yet, this is a shift in attitude towards the church from “this is Pris’s thing, I don't want to talk about it” to “maybe I could try it out”. They see the highs and the lows, the wins and the challenges of working in a church and this has sparked their curiosity. It's really exciting!
Somehow, even though we live together, the most recent picture we have together is from being silly dancing to Christmas music last December.
One big challenge for the Creative Media team has been that Brie, our most experienced team member, needs to go back to her home country for a few months to fundraise. This means that all her tasks - which are a lot - fall on the rest of the team members in addition to our already-busy schedules. Since the job of the Creative Media team is so visible, if a task falls through the cracks it is very evident and difficult to miss. This adds a lot of pressure! A big part of my job as project manager is have an overview of all the projects and their tasks and distribute them to my team according to their availability and capacity. My goal is to make sure all the projects get done with excellence, while protecting my team from over-working themselves.
There's a lot more to say but I know reading long letters isn't everyone's preference so this is all I will say for now! Moving forward. I will keep writing short updates but more often.
If you ever want to know more or keep talking, let me know. You can send me a WhatsApp message or a message where it says "Contact Me" above and we can schedule a call, I'd love to hear more about your life too!
Prayer Requests
Balancing growth and team health is a big challenge since we already at capacity. Please pray for wisdom in managing our time, energy, and for more people to join the team!
We are learning more than ever for Jesus to be our strength. Please pray for our spiritual lives and "seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness" (Matthew 6:33)
Pray for my flatmates! They want to have a spiritual life but have a reluctancy towards the church because of personal experiences growing up and certain resentment against the Catholic church.
I am still working on raising funds to do life here. I am looking for some side-hustles to have a source of income, but ideally I'd like to be able to dedicate all of my time to missions. Please pray for wisdom and provision!
Thank you for walking this journey with me - it means the world!
