My Work

My passion and dream is to see people from every culture transformed by Jesus. I would love to reach every corner of the world, but I am only one person!

Over the years (and the moves) God has made it very clear that He is not waiting for me to arrive to a country move and bring people to Himself (and thank goodness!). There is already church, people who love Him, in the places least thought of by many in the western church.

So the question was: How can I contribute my grain of sand to what is already happening in the global church? How can I dedicate my abilities to walk with the church towards the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20)?

Today the answer is by collaborating with Christian organisations in communications and administration (often our Achilles' heel!) such as Ethne, COMIBAM, or ICB. The goal of all is to bring people to a knowledge of Jesus, each with their unique approach.

Ethne Development Intl.

Ethne is a humanitarian development NGO with the purpose of identifying, accompanying and equipping small local ministries in the Middle East, North Africa and West Africa that exist for the economic, social and spiritual development of their communities.

The idea is that there are already people in these places making a difference, and we want to empower these small local organisations by connecting them with global resources to accompany and strengthen them as they transform their communities from within.

My specific role is in communications. On the one hand, I develop things like branding, website, etc. On the other hand, I facilitate communication between local ministries and foundations, churches and individuals who want to invest their time and resources in these ministries. Often, there is a cultural and linguistic gap between these groups. My role is to bridge this gap, ensuring that messages are conveyed accurately, while adapting the style of communication so that it is easily understood by all parties involved.

ICB

(International Church of Barcelona)

I worked for three years at the International Church of Barcelona (ICB), leading the creative media team. Although I am no longer there full time, I love my church and am still very much involved. The church has grown a lot in recent years and now has over 90 nationalities represented, which is one of the things I love the most!

Currently, I have the privilege of leading the young adults group (18-29 year olds) called Awaken. This group has experienced exponential growth and we are now between 150-180 young people, with a leadership team of 15 people that I have the honour of leading.

We have seen people from many backgrounds meet God through this group. Many of them, who are only here for a few months, go back to their countries carrying the message of Jesus with them.

Other projects

COMIBAM

The Ibero-American Missionary Cooperation (COMIBAM) promotes collaboration between national missionary movements, churches and agencies to work with global missionary networks. Its vision is ‘Ibero-America taking the whole gospel to all ethnic groups’.

I am part of the creative multimedia team, specifically for the Comibam 2025 Congress that occurs every 10 years.

TCKs

Third Culture Kids (TCKs) are people who have grown up between 2 or more cultures (sound familiar?). It is very common for people who live between worlds to have questions about identity, belonging and how to relate to the world.

I am involved with a ministry of teen CTCs, in camps, mentoring, and other specific projects.
